Upcoming Workshop: Now London is a city farm

“It’s 2035, fifteen years after The Great Food Emergency. Londoners discuss their roles in recreating the great metropolis as a city farm.”

Join us for a workshop, where we use roleplay to explore what London would be like if all available spaces were turned over to urban farming. Participants will be given different roles to play within fictional scenarios: multispecies relationships, new economies, and radical decision-making processes for sustaining a city-wide food commons.

Email sara.heitlinger@city.ac.uk for the Eventbrite sign-up link.

This is the second of four workshops we’re holding this year to explore how algorithmic technologies such as blockchain can help to organise the food commons and embed the interests of non-humans like water aquifers, birds and soil micro-organisms.
